iKEY and iKEY PLUS Portable USB Recorder This is an excellent recorder for for personal and church use. I use the iKEY Plus to convert cassettes to digital files and also works to plug into a church sound board to record digitally. This is a solid state recorder (no spinning hard drive) so it records very clean, much cleaner than I have been able to do with recording directly into a computer. The iKEY plus has a few more features such as Mic Input, Phono Preamp, VU Meter Display, and Headphone Output.
Designed to record directly to any external USB storage device, including the iPodĀ®, the iKEY can record audio from any audio device and write it directly to MP3 or WAV format - in real time!

Some of the software I use that you may find helpful as well is as follows: Splitting files: All the audio .MP3 files on this website are not split into tracks because of the ease of both downloading and streaming. I'll spare you all the details. However, if you want to split a sermon into multiple tracks, I suggest a free program called Slice. This makes it very simple to split an audio file into as many tracks as you wish. Editing & Converting .MP3s to differant formats such as a .wav file. I prefer to use Audacity for most of my editing, however WavePad is another alternative, though I have had some problems with it jumbling split files. I also use dBpoweramp to convert audio files to a differant format and to change bitrates etc.
